Sophie Cramer ist Soziologin mit Schwerpunkt auf Leistungsevaluation in Mikrofinanzorganisationen, Soziologie der Weltgesellschaft und Globalisierung, Soziologie des (Leistungs-)Vergleichs und der Quantifizierung, Organisationssoziologie und qualitativer Sozialforschung, insbesondere Ethnografie in Organisationen. Ihr Dissertationsprojekt untersucht die Effekte globaler Vergleichsbeobachtung auf Organisationsprozesse in Mikrofinanzorganisationen im Kontext von Kommerzialisierung und Armutsbekämpfung.
